Vacancy available: construction helper (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction helper in Franklin County, Florida. You will work with a civil contractor. The role involves: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site What we are looking for: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Full-time with occasional weekends.
