Foundry labourer — Spalding County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Spalding County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Meals and transport allowance provided.
