Safety inspector — Wayne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Wayne County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
