Elevator technician wanted in Boulder County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Boulder County, Colorado. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
