UPVC door and window fabricator — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Franklin County, Tennessee. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres The role involves take site measurements of openings before fabrication; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it.
