Trowel-trade bricklayer — Marion County

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Marion County, Kansas. You will be based on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
