Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Asotin County, Washington. Day to day you will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
