Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Allen County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
