Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends.
