Power float operator wanted in Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Union County, Indiana. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
