Road roller operator — Boyd County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Boyd County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
