Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Delta County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
