The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
