Fabricator-welder — Cowlitz County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cowlitz County, Washington. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
