Kitchen porter — Centre County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Centre County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Requirements: • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Your main tasks: • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
