Track-type tractor operator wanted in Sangamon County

Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will work at a busy earthworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
