AC mechanic — Pope County

Join our team: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Pope County, Illinois. The job is on new-build apartment projects. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Your main tasks: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow Full-time with occasional weekends.
