We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Sioux County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred.
