Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Routt County, Colorado. The job is at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
