House painter — Clinton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a house painter in Clinton County, Iowa. The job is on a residential building site. On a typical shift you will mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns. What we are looking for: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
