Ironing operator — Wurno

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Wurno, Sokoto State. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
