Vacancy available: site labourer (Bauchi State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site labourer in Itas/Gadau, Bauchi State. You will work on a building construction site. The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Full-time with occasional weekends.
