Horizontal milling machine operator — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jackson County, Kansas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
