Now hiring: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Wayne County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents On the job you will handle: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Rotating shifts.
