Blocklayer — Bowie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Bowie County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
