Argon welder — Sefton

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Sefton, England. The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 4+ years on the tools preferred.
