Stamping press operator — Alpena County

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Alpena County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
