Foundry labourer wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Washington County, Colorado. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
