Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Kiowa County, Colorado. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
