Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Wolverhampton, England. Day to day you will read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; clean condenser and evaporator coils; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
