Mobile crane operator — Newport

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Newport, Wales. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate On the job you will handle: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
