Heavy equipment operator — Ocean County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Ocean County, New Jersey. On a typical shift you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
