Groundskeeper — Prince George County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Prince George County, Virginia. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day to day you will weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
