Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Alcona County, Michigan. The job is at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits The role involves: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
