CO2 welder • Thurston County, Washington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Thurston County, Washington. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
