CNC mill setter-operator — Cumberland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Cumberland County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Day-to-day duties: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Rotating shifts.
