Glass cutter — Wayne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass cutter in Wayne County, New York. Day to day you will measure window and door openings and order glass to size; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
