Brick and block layer — Monroe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Monroe County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
