Milling machine operator wanted in Monmouthshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Monmouthshire, Wales. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
