Shakeout operator — Mid Ulster

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer £1,950 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
