Crane operator — Pulaski County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Pulaski County, Virginia. You will work at a stone quarry. The role involves work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; check for underground cables and services before digging; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
