Immediate opening: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Herkimer County, New York. The job is in a residential garden complex. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Part-time with flexible hours.
