MIG welder — Steuben County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Steuben County, New York. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
