Steel erection rigger — Johnson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Johnson County, Wyoming. You will be based at a container port. The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
