Power press operator — Newton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Newton County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
