Pastry baker — Keokuk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Keokuk County, Iowa. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
