Banksman — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Washington County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
