Sample machinist — Washoe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Washoe County, Nevada. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
