Tree and shrub pruner — Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Wayne County, Michigan. You will be based at a plant nursery. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage You will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
