Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Dickinson County, Michigan. You will be based at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading You will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components.
